How to Remove a Different University's Eduroam Profile From your Device

If you are having trouble initially connecting to the Eduroam network and have previously connected to another universities eduroam wireless network, please follow the steps below:

Note: If you have successfully connected to eduroam on our campus using another institutions credentials, this may prevent you from accessing certain resources such as printers and file shares.

MAC

  • Open "System Settings"

  • On the left side, select "Privacy & Security" 
  • Select "Profiles"
  • Select "Eduroam" and click delete the profile by clicking the minus button

  • Alternatively, you can search for" Profiles" under the "System Settings" search feature.
  • Attempt to connect to the Eduroam network again
  • You will then be prompted for you WFU credentials (Enter your full @wfu.edu account as the username)

Windows

  • Select the Start button > Select Settings > Select Network & internet > Wi-Fi
  • Select Manage known networks

  • Select Forget next to Eduroam

  • Select the Network, Sound, or Battery icons on the right side of the taskbar
  • Select Eduroam from the available network list and select Connect
  • You will then be prompted to enter your WFU username (@wfu.edu) and password
