Finding the Wireless MAC Address

Bypassing Wi-Fi Setup for Your Smart TV

Most smart TVs do not allow you to access the network settings until you have completed the initial setup. Follow these instructions to locate the MAC address:

Power On and Initial Language/Region Setup

  • Unbox and Plug In: Connect the power cord and turn on the TV.
  • Initial Prompts: The TV will first prompt you to select your Language and Region/Country. Complete these simple steps.

The Network/Connectivity Screen

The next screen will almost always be the Network or Connectivity screen, where the TV automatically searches for Wi-Fi networks.

  • Look for the Bypass Option:Carefully check all corners and buttons on the screen for the following options:
    • Skip
    • Setup Later
    • Connect Manually
    • No Internet Connection
  • Select the Bypass Option: Use your remote's directional pad to navigate and select the option to skip the wireless connection.

Choosing the Input Source

  • Once you skip the Wi-Fi, the TV will likely ask you to connect your devices.
  • Select Your Primary Input: Choose the input you plan to use most often (e.g., HDMI 1 for a gaming console). This tells the TV to skip all the "Smart Hub" or app setup features.
  • The TV should then proceed to the regular home screen or the selected input source.
