I have lost function with Cognos, what happened?

If you have lost function with Cognos it is most likely because Internet Explorer has been automatically updated, causing the compatibility view to go away. Follow these steps to correct this issue going forward:

  • Open Internet Explorer.
  • In the Help menu option, select "About Internet Explorer."

  • De-select the "Install new versions automatically."

  • Select Close. 
  • In the "Tools" menu option, select "Compatibility View settings."

  • In the "Add this website:" section, type in "" and select "Add."

  • Select "Close."
